In my family we believe love, compassion, and kindness are the highest expression of our humanity. I would like to see more of this in our politics and end the divisiveness and separation that keeps us from solving real problems that matter to the people of our state.
I am honored to run for State Assembly District 83 on the Democratic ticket this fall and give the people of our community a clear choice this fall.- When we have a strong middle class, everyone wins. We need to do everything in our power to continue to foster growth in our state and community that enable a strong middle class. Attract investment and economic development in our state that creates good paying long-term jobs. Increase Labor rights and support fair wages in Wisconsin. This is a key contributor to creating and maintaining a strong middle class. Safe working conditions, fair pay, and benefits that respect and protect Wisconsin's labor force and families.
- I stand with women and the importance of keeping access available for abortion in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, it is more important than ever who we elect at the local level to preserve these basic reproductive healthcare rights women have held for over 50 years. I continue trust women along with their families and doctors to make these very difficult and personal decisions. I will fight for and defend women's reproductive freedoms in Wisconsin.
- Increase affordable housing and childcare. We need to make it more affordable for individuals and families to thrive.

Representation: Serving as the voice for my constituents in the Assembly. Listening to the concerns and needs of all the people my district and advocating for their interests.
Oversight: Monitoring and oversight to ensure laws are properly enforced and public funds are used effectively.
Supporting Constituents: Helping constituents in my district navigate government services and any issues they encounter.
Budgeting and Appropriations: Participating in the budget creation and approval process.
The unforgettable joy of watching the people of Germany climbing the wall and tearing off pieces is etched in my memory. This was the first time I realized how truly lucky I was to be free and how grateful I was to be an American.
Looking back now, I am deeply grateful for these experiences. Yes, it would have been easier if I had a car and a college fund, but I wouldn't have learned how capable and able I was to make my way in the world. I am grateful for these experiences because I also understand that while I may have been living in poverty, I still had shoes on my feet and bootstraps I could pull up while there are still many that don't even have boots.
Aging population: An aging population will place pressure on healthcare systems, long-term care facilities, and social services.
Economic Diversification and Innovation: Wisconsin's economy has been largely manufacturing dependent, but changes in global trade, automation, and technology advancement continue to shift this dynamic. We will need to shift to investments in new technology, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.
Healthcare access and costs: Rural areas in Wisconsin face a shortage of healthcare providers and facilities, which can lead to poorer outcomes for residents. Rising healthcare costs, both for individuals and the state, will continue to be a challenge.
Educational System and Workforce Development: Ensuring K-12 schools, particularly rural and low-income have adequate funding and resources to address achievement gaps that create the workforce of the future. Wisconsin must focus on upskilling its workforce and expanding vocational and technical training.
Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change: Climate Resilience will be important for Wisconsin as we will face challenges with extreme weather. Wisconsin's agricultural sector is a major part of the state's economy. Water quality issues and aging water infrastructure will need to continue to be dealt with.
Affordable Housing: A lack of affordable housing, particularly in urban and suburban areas is a concern. This affects economic development and our ability to attract workers.
This does not work well for complex issues or ballot initiatives that are intentionally made difficult or misleading to understand. There must be transparency, budget for communication, and elimination of special interests.
