Jillian Froment is the former Ohio insurance director. She was appointed to the position by Gov. John Kasich (R) on March 31, 2017, and assumed office on April 6, 2017.[1][2] She left office in August 2020.[3]

Froment previously worked as the city administrator for Marysville, Ohio. In 2011, she joined the Ohio Department of Insurance as a chief administrative officer. She assumed the role of deputy director later that year and remained in the position until her appointment as director in 2017.[4]

Froment succeeded Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor (R), who had jointly served as insurance director since 2011 but resigned from the dual role on March 31, 2017.[1] She left office in August 2020.
