I am blessed to have been born and raised in Springdale and have watched beautiful Northwest Arkansas grow and blossom into one of the best places to live in the United States. I attended Springdale public schools and graduated from Shiloh Christian. At 18 years of age I became an Arkansas realtor.

Thirty-seven years ago (July 21, 1984) I married my high school sweetheart, Michelle Ruark. She is the greatest blessing in my life, the mother of our twenty children, and the super grandma to our twenty-two and counting grandchildren.

Like most young couples, we started with nothing but each other. We began with two old, used cars, and we eventually purchased a tiny, old fixer-upper house. The house was pretty run-down, but that didn’t matter, because we were living on love. We had hopes of starting our own business so we could spend more time together.

Faith has always been important in our lives, and after much prayer, we did start two small businesses that we ran for a year while I was still working at the grocery store. Our businesses finally took off, and I was then able to devote my attention to their success. Eventually, we sold both businesses to focus on commercial real estate. Both of those successful Springdale businesses are still running today, over twenty years later, with the same owners.

We love Northwest Arkansas. It has been such a gift from God to grow up and get married here, and it has been a wonderful place to raise our family.

  • I have been tried and tested in the public spotlight and never changed. You’ll always know where I stand and I will stand firm for you, even if it means standing alone.

  • I will not allow the liberal left, social media, or fake news to define me and my family. Like so many other families, we too have faced crises, difficulties, and heartbreak. “Cancel culture” and the radical left want to keep us from being involved in politics. They say because our family has faced problems we should shrink away—this is why they are often so relentlessly unkind, but we cannot sit on the sidelines during a time when one of America’s most important battles is taking place! We are devoted to doing our part and making a difference for our children and grandchildren.

  • I will fight to allow parents to decide what is best for their children’s education and healthcare! I will fight to be an advocate for our seniors, our veterans, and the unborn. I will fight to allow taxpayers and small businesses to keep more of what they earn! I will fight to protect the right to bear arms and vehemently protect our right to free speech. I’m not afraid to stand up to social media companies who censor conservatives and want to ruin all that has made America great. We will not be silenced.

Pro-Life - Life is a precious gift from God and I will fight 100% of the time to protect the unborn.

Pro-Second Amendment - Our nation’s problems aren’t the fault of honest gun owners. I will fight against every attempt to erode our Second Amendment rights.

Parent’s Rights - Parents know best for their children, not the government! I will fight for parents to get to decide where their children go to school and for their hard-earned tax dollars to follow the children, and I will fight tirelessly to ensure that parents, not the government, control their children’s healthcare.

Government Overreach - Biden, liberals, and establishment Republicans want to control everything about our lives. Freedom matters, and I know that if we don’t stand up against these mandates and overreaches they will never stop!

Cancel Culture & Big Business Bullies - Liberals and big business have made an unholy alliance that is hurting small businesses, American workers, and our families. We need leaders who will push back and stop their ridiculous march that threatens our liberties and our nation’s future.

Taxes - Our citizens and small businesses work so hard and can sometimes never get ahead because of the enormous tax burden they carry. I will fight to cut taxes and hold government agencies accountable for their wasteful spending of our dollars.

Veterans & Seniors - They are part of the greatest generation, and our veterans are the real heroes among us.
