|I am a veteran, having proudly served in the US Navy for over 21 yrs; 4 years Active Duty and over 17 yrs in the US Naval Reserve. I retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
I have been a US Army civil Servant and a Director of a Local Children’s Ministry and I am currently a Teacher and a Pastor.
My family has lived in Southeastern Arizona since 1880 and have been ranchers, cowboys, miners and even a lawman.
Families are the foundational cornerstone of every successful and prosperous society. Strong families mean strong communities I am passionate about all families and the issues affecting them and will be an advocate for families in the State Legislature!
- Family Safety: I support the Second Amendment. Crime, violence, drugs, trafficking (fueled by poor Federal border policies) and suicide are affecting Arizona families every day. I support fully funding law and border enforcement and mandatory sentencing for gun crimes, trafficking, and drug dealing. I also support funding drug treatment and comprehensive anti-drug education to reduce the demand for drugs.. Streets and schools must be made safe for Arizona Families once more.
- Family Education: I support parents as the primary decision maker for their children's education. I support Educational freedom, allowing parents to choose the educational option for their children. The racism and bigotry of CRT, the hyper-sexualization of children and hateful anti-American curriculum have no place in Arizona schools. I will support and advocate for complete transparency in our schools, parent have a right to know what is being taught and presented at their children's schools. I also support the placement of armed law enforcement on campus to protect our children and teachers. Finally I support a strong and vibrant vocational training program in our schools to prepare the next generation for economic prosperity.
- Family Economy: Too many families are living pay check to pay check. I support free market policies that have been proven to create high wage jobs. I support the mining, ranching, farming, tourism and retirement industries; the 5 C's (Copper, Cattle, Cotton, Citrus, and Climate) on which our Arizona economy is based. I also support the creation of manufacturing and distribution facilities in our border counties to increase economic opportunities. Thousands of high paying jobs are within reach if companies are allowed to responsibly operate in our state.,
