Jim Condos
Jim Condos (Democratic Party) was the Vermont Secretary of State. He assumed office on January 6, 2011. He left office on January 5, 2023.
Condos (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for Vermont Secretary of State. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Condos previously served in the State Senate from 2001 to 2009.[1]
Biography
Condos was born in Orange, New Jersey, and raised in Burlington and South Burlington. He attended South Burlington High School and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1974.
Condos' professional experience includes working for a Vermont grocery distribution company and Vermont Gas Systems - a publicly-regulated utility.[2]

Condos filed to run for re-election in the 2016 election for secretary of state of Vermont. He was unopposed in the Democratic primary. No Republicans filed to run for the office. Condos will compete with Liberty Union Party candidate Mary Alice Herbert in the general election.[4]

Condos ran for re-election as Vermont Secretary of State in 2014. He won the Democratic nomination in the unopposed primary on August 26. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.

Noteworthy events
June 2017 request for voter rolls
On June 29, 2017, the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, created by President Donald Trump (R) on May 11, requested information on registered voters from all 50 states dating back to 2006. The states were given until July 14 to respond. On June 30, Secretary Condos announced that the state would provide only publicly available information to the commission.
