Jim Crockett
Jim Crockett was a judge for Department 24 of the Nevada 8th Judicial District Court. He assumed office in 2015. He left office on January 3, 2021.

Crockett ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 45.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Joe Hardy, Jr., Anthony Ashby and Tony Liker.
General: He defeated Joe Hardy, Jr. in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 53.2 percent of the vote.

Education
Crockett received a B.A. in history from Loyola Marymount University in 1971. He earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law in 1974.[3]
Career
Prior to his election to the court, Crockett was a senior partner of the law firm Crockett & Myers.[4]
