Biography
Jim Estes retired from the U.S. Naval Reserves and is a Vietnam veteran. He taught in Rutherford County Schools for 21 years.[1]

The August 7, 2014, general election ballot for Zone 3 included candidates Veronica Buchanan, Howard Jones and Lisa W. Moore. The Zone 7 ballot included candidates Jody Lynn Bond, Jim Estes, Gabriel Fancher, Patrick McCarthy and Paul Peavy. Zone 4 incumbent Wayne Blair faced candidate Eric Tuttobene.
