Jim Fox
Jim Fox formerly held an at-large seat on the Wood County Schools school board in West Virginia. He was initially elected to the chamber in 2002 and lost re-election on May 13, 2014.
Biography
Fox was born and raised in Wood County. After graduating from Parkersburg High School in 1981, he earned a B.A. in International Studies from West Virginia University. He served on Senator Jay Rockefeller’s Capitol Hill staff for nine years, served five years as administrative assistant to Wood County Assessor Steve Grimm and was employed with the U.S. Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt as an Employee and Labor Relations Specialist at the time of his tenure. Fox and his wife, Sandy, have two sons.[1]
