Biography

Langfelder received a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the University of Illinois Springfield (formerly Sangamon State University). He worked as a loan officer and Community Reinvestment Act coordinator at First of America Bank from 1988 to 1998 and as a business development officer at Security Bank from 1998 to 2003.[4]

Langfelder announced on January 10, 2022, that he tested positive for COVID-19. He said he was vaccinated at the time he contracted the virus.[5]
