Jim McNiece
Jim McNiece (Republican Party) was a member of the Kansas State Board of Education, representing District 10. He assumed office in 2013. He left office on January 14, 2025.
McNiece (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas State Board of Education to represent District 10. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Jim McNiece's career in education includes time spent as a teacher and an administrator in public and private schools. McNiece has also served as president of the National Association of State Boards of Education.[1]

Political career
Kansas State Board of Education (2013-2025)
McNiece was first elected to the board in November 2012 and took office in January 2013. He was re-elected in 2016. McNiece has served as the board's chairman, legislative coordinator, and representative to the Coalition of Innovative School Districts Board.[1] He left office on January 14, 2025.
