Metro ran unopposed in the May 4 Democratic primary election.[1] Metro faced Republican incumbent Sue Landske and Libertarian candidate Charles E. Barman in the November 2, 2010, general election. Landske defeated Metro and Barman with 26,022 votes; Metro received 11,533 votes and Barman received 1,425 votes.[2]
