Jim Miller is a Marine Corp Veteran, loving father, radio personality, small business owner and community leader. During the 2023 Mayoral Race, wanting nothing to do with politicians, Jim became known as the representative of the hard working class.

Sick of the same old politicians masquerading as fighters, he began his campaign fighting for regular people tired of the same old nonsense.

Jim was tired of being brushed off by politicians getting nothing more than I'll look into it with no further response. It became evident to Jim, that those presently serving did not care about the freedoms, rights, and safety of those they served, limiting the ability for everyday citizens to present their concerns.

When 4 convicted pedophiles moved next door to his house, adjacent to a church, the city ignored the issue. Wanting to protect his daughter, who is a survivor, and others from the threat, Jim embarked on a mission to ensure that pedophiles cannot live near churches, parks, daycares, schools or anywhere children congregate.

Even though Jim may take a strong stance, and does not appear as your typical politician, he has caught the attention of several local political leaders, proving that he is respected as a representative of his fellow citizens. With notable endorsements from Longinos Gonzalez, former County Commissioner, Heidi Ganahl, former candidate for Governor and founder of Rocky Mountain Voice, it is apparent the impact Jim has in the Colorado Springs community.
  • Vote or Go Broke. Colorado Springs needs a Department of Government Efficiency, it is about time that the spending of Colorado Springs be audited in depth, taking special consideration of Colorado Springs Utilities after the drastic cost of living increase due to utility prices skyrocketing.
  • Quit wasting valuable emergency services on code enforcement, meter enforcement and traffic violations, it is time that we go after the actual criminals, not the everyday guy who is just trying to live his life.
  • The vote of the people should always be a consideration when it comes to laws, policy and annexation decisions. Rather than limit the public comment and participation as many previous council members have done, we should praise and encourage more community involvement.
Property Rights, Safety, Pedophile/Sex Offender Registry, Emergency Preparedness, Second Amendment Rights.
I have always been an independent thinker; I am a fiscal conservative and a constitutionalist. Regarding any and all decision making, I will always ask what rights of the great people of this city are being infringed on. For far too long, we have allowed elected officials and bureaucrats eat away at property rights and second amendment rights, we watched as the rights of individuals to provide for their family was stripped from them during COVID. It is time that the hard-working people of Colorado Springs be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing that city council will not punish them for being a productive member of society.
I am a hard working, get your hands dirty kind of guy. A guy whose hand get beat up and whose clothing gets dirty. I am not your typical old politician trying to look like the image of the same old slimy politician we see in our heads. It is time that we elect more everyday people, in order to bring a new perspective.
The courage to stand up and speak out has not existed in city council for over a decade. Rather certain council members have done everything in their power to not hear the voice of the people, while ensuring that the funding remains consistent for their next campaign. Government should be small, auditable, and accountable. Often it appears as though city council and Colorado Springs utilities is not accountable to anyone. We are in the midst of a constitutional crisis because feeble politicians have put into place laws that have chipped away at the rights and freedoms of the people. Government should be of the people and for the people, and not just certain classes of people.
Longinos Gonzalez, Heidi Ganahl, Jason Lupo, Darcy Schoening, Jim Boelens, Andrew Dalby, Ken Davis.
