Jim Naughton was a 2013 Republican candidate in the special election for District 30 of the Georgia State Senate.[1]

Naughton ran in a special election for Georgia State Senate District 30. The seat was vacant following Bill Hamrick's (R) resignation on September 10, 2012. Naughton faced Glenn Richardson, Bill Hembree and Mike Dugan in the Republican primary on November 6, 2012. With no candidate winning a majority in the primary, the top two vote-getters - Hembree and Dugan - proceeded to a runoff on December 4, 2012. James Camp is running as a Libertarian. The special election takes place on January 8, 2013.[1][2]
