Jim Overton (Republican Party) is the Duval County Tax Collector in Florida. Overton assumed office in 2019. Overton's current term ends on July 1, 2027.
Overton (Republican Party) won re-election for Duval County Tax Collector in Florida outright after the general election on March 21, 2023, was canceled.
Biography
Jim Overton earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington & Lee University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of North Florida. His career experience includes working as a small business owner and real estate broker. His organizational affiliations include the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville, Metro Jax YMCA, and Troop 2 Boy Scouts of America. Overton served in the Fernandina Beach Squadron Civil Air Patrol[1]
