Jim Preuitt
Jim Preuitt is a former Republican member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the District 11 from 1990 to 2010. Previously, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives.
Preuitt served as a Democrat until April 2010, when he filed for re-election as a Republican.[1]

On November 7, 2006, Preuitt won re-election to the 2nd District Seat in the Alabama State Senate, defeating opponent Jim Hethcox (R).[3]
Preuitt raised $897,248 for his campaign, while Hethcox raised none.[4]
