The notice was filed by Osage Beach, Missouri resident Justin Farrell. Schneider, who was elected to the board in April 2008, was under fire due to allegations of misrepresenting taxpayers and mismanagement of district funds. At least 1,300 signatures of registered voters inside the district would have been required to trigger a recall election.[1]
