Jim Skelly

Jim Skelly is an at-large member of the Lakeville Area Board of Education in Minnesota. He won re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014. Skelly was first elected to the board in 2002.[1]
Biography
Jim Skelly is a resident of Lakeville, Minnesota. Skelly earned his A.A. degree in general studies from Anoka Ramsey Community College and his B.A. degree in speech communications from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. In his career, he has worked as a public relations coordinator for Northwest Community Television, communications coordinator for the city of Burnsville and communications and marketing coordinator for the Farmington School District in Minnesota.[2]

The election in Lakeville featured three at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Jim Skelly and Michelle Volk ran against challengers Jackie L. Craig, Kathy Lewis, Mark Priore and Randy Pronschinske for the seats. Fellow board member Roz Peterson did not file for re-election.

Funding
Skelly did not report any contributions or expenditures during the election, according to Lakeville Area Public Schools.[3] State law does not require campaign finance reporting if contributions or expenditures do not exceed $750 in a calendar year.[4]
