Ballotpedia biographical submission form

The candidate completed Ballotpedia's biographical information submission form:

What is your political philosophy?

I have spent my adult life representing average people in the most challenging and important matters of their lives. I have always done this by putting their needs first. I believe my community should have the same type of representation from those they elect. I don't believe we have that now. I decided to run for office to make sure my community receives value back for the tax money we pay to Columbus and to ensure we have representation that is not primarily motivated by political party leadership, PACS and big money donors. Our State legislature has cut in half the tax money coming back to our community, they have cut a billion dollars from our public schools, short changed our colleges and universities, neglected our infrastructure and abdicated their responsibilities toward our environment. This isinot in the best interest of Warren County. While at the same time they have squandered millions upon millions of tax payer dollars on Ecot, no bid contracts, do nothing job boards and unneeded corporate subsidies. Ohio is now ranked 40th among the states, our schools are 41st, our economic stability is 47th and our families are 48th in our protection from indstrial pollutants. I believe our community is better than these rankings and I know we can do better.

Is there anything you would like to add?

I would like the voters of Warren county to know that regardless of political party affiliation, special interest fervor or any other pressures, I will cast every vote, propose every bill, prioritize every budget issue and make every argument with only one consideration in mind. If it is not in the best interests of my community, the 62nd district, then I will fight tooth and nail against it. If it is in our best interest I will fight just as hard for it.

I intend to restore funding to our public schools, restore the funding to our communities through the local fund and shine a bright and cleansing light on the dark money and special interest influence which has controlled our legislature for most of the last decade.[2]
