Jim Tate
Jim Tate was a candidate for the Iowa City Community School District Board of Education. He sought election to an at large seat on September 10, 2013.
Biography
Jim Tate is a Marine Corps Veteran and candidate for member of the Iowa City Community School District. He lives in Southeast Iowa City with his wife Lily and their daughter Rebekah who attends South East Jr. High School.[1] Tate was also a candidate for the Iowa City Community School District Board of Education in 2011.

Tate was defeated in an election for a four year term on September 10, 2013 against eight other candidates for 3 school board member positions.[2]
