Jim Wayne
Jim Wayne (b. May 21, 1948) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 35 from 1991 to 2018.
Biography
When he served in the state House, Wayne's professional experience included working as the president of Mental Health/Employee Assistance Services, the Wayne Corporation, and as a legislative assistant in the United States Congress.

Incumbent Jim Wayne ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Carl Nett ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Wayne defeated Nett in the general election.[4][5][6]

Wayne won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 35. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and ran unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[7][8]

Wayne won re-election to the 35th District seat in the November 2 general election. He was unopposed, and received 8,465 votes.ref>Official Kentucky general election results</ref>
Wayne was unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary election.[9]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Wayne was re-elected to the 35th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[10] He raised $18,029 for his campaign.[11]

When he served in the state House, Wayne was a member of the Airport Neighbors' Alliance, Incorporated, Capital Campaign Committee - School for Social Work - Smith College, Jefferson County Advisory Council for Women, Louisville Coalition for the Homeless Board, Louisville Forum, Metropolitan Housing Coalition, and the National Association of Social Workers.[12]
