Two of the seven seats on the Rockwall Independent School District board of trustees were up for general election on May 7, 2016. Place 4 incumbent Jon Bailey and Place 5 incumbent Jim White were the only candidates to file for the two seats up for election. This election was canceled by the school district due to lack of opposition.[1]
