Wrotenbery received his undergraduate degree from Rice University and his J.D. from University of Texas at Austin.^[1]

Wrotenbery is a partner in private practice.

Wrotenbery was defeated by incumbent Jeffrey Brown in the general election on November 6, 2012.^[2] ^[3]^[4]
