Jimmie Moore
Jimmie Moore was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 195 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[1]
Moore was previously a candidate for the U.S. House in 2012. He ran as a Democrat for the 1st Congressional District of Pennsylvania.[2]
Biography
Moore earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master's degree from the University of Massachusettes, and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
After graduating from law school, Moore went to work at the Brooklyn Legal Aid Society. Not long after, he was appointed as the first African American assistant general for the state of Delaware. Moore later founded a law firm, J. Moore & Associates. In 1999, he was elected judge in the Philadelphia Municipal Court. During his time as judge, Moore founded a community program that provided underemployed residents and ex-offenders an opportunity to become legal secretaries and paralegals.[3]

Incumbent Donna Bullock ran unopposed in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 195 general election.[4][5]
