J. Darnell Jones (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 1st Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 28, 2022.

Biography

Jimmy Darnell Jones was born outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and lives in Texas. Jones served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy for 25 years and reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Memphis and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School.[1]
