Biography
Hallyburton grew up in Boise, Idaho. He earned his bachelor's degree in education and mass communications from Boise State University. His professional experience includes founding the nonprofit, Boise Bicycle Project in 2007. According to the nonprofit's website, the nonprofit "promotes the personal, social, and environmental benefits of bicycling. BBP functions as a bicycle recycling center as well as an educational workspace in a diverse and non-threatening atmosphere. Through education and access to affordable refurbished bicycles BBP strives to build a stronger bicycling community."[1] Prior to founding the nonprofit, Hallyburton worked as a hotshot firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service for four years.[2][3]
