Jimmy Rishwain is a former candidate for Mayor of Stockton. He ran in the primary election on June 7, 2016.[1]
Biography
Rishwain was a member of the Stockton City Council from 1963 to 1967. He is the owner of Jimmie's Place and a real estate developer.[2]

Rishwain expressed opposition to the city's decision to declare bankruptcy during his unsuccessful run for mayor in 2012. He told The Record that other options should have been explored before pursuing debt reorganization.[2]
