As a Board member, it has been rewarding to be a part of the phenomenal transformation of our school system. I am inspired by the numerous accomplishments of students, staff, and leadership as we move toward our goal of being the highest ranked system in the nation, as outlined in the newly developed strategic plan: Education 2018: Excellence for Every Student. The work has been intense, but the next four years will be an exciting time for students as we begin to see the benefits of new program opportunities for achievement. I am compelled to continue serving MNPS in order to reach our goal.
