Joan Salensky was a candidate for District 34 of the New Jersey General Assembly. She was defeated in the November 8 general election. She and Rick Farfan were bracketed together in the primary. Salensky and Steve Farrell defeated Randy Colondres and Rick Farfan in the Republican Primary on June 7. Incumbents Sheila Oliver and Thomas Giblin ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Clenard Childress and David Taylor ran as Independents in the November 8 general election as well.[1]
