Joann Conaway is a member of the Delaware Public Service Commission. Conaway assumed office in 2001. Conaway's current term ends on May 1, 2026.
Conaway was appointed to the commission by Gov. Ruth Ann Minner in June 2001.[1] She was reappointed to a five-year term in June 2015 by Gov. Jack Markell (D).[2] Gov. John Carney (D) reappointed her to another five-year term in May 2021.[3]
Biography
Conaway is a sales associate with Cooper Realty Associates, Inc. in Seaford, Delaware. She also serves as Vice President and Secretary of Conaway Associates, Inc. and serves on the Kent/Sussex Human Services Council with Adopt A Family.[1] Prior to her real estate employment she was Volunteer Coordinator for Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, Seaford. She also served on the Woodbridge School District Board of Education from 1978 to 1983, serving as President from 1982-1983.[1]
