Joanna Mikulenka was a candidate for by district representative on the Hays Consolidated Independent School District board of trustees in Texas. The general election was held on May 7, 2016. Mikulenka was defeated in the general election.[1]

The district school board elections on May 7, 2016, included four candidates for two available seats. District 4 incumbent Merideth Keller faced challenger Joanna Mikulenka. The District 5 incumbent did not seek re-election and newcomers Esperanza Orosco and Priscilla Harrell ran for the seat.[2] Keller and Orosco won their respective races, defeating Mikulenka and Harrell.[3]
