Joanne Blyton
Joanne Blyton (b. December 7, 1947) is a former Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 59 from 2011 to 2015. Blyton did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Blyton's professional experience includes working as the owner of Service Station, branch secretary at NASA, bus driver for the Transportation Department, driver instructor for the Transportation Department, and transportation supervisor for the Transportation Department.

Elections for the Montana State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for major party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 10, 2014; minor party and independent candidates had until June 2, 2014, to file. Elli Elliott was unopposed in the Democratic primary. David Howard defeated Joanne Blyton in the Republican primary. Howard defeated Elliott in the general election. Incumbent Edward Walker (R) did not seek re-election.[1][2]

Blyton won re-election in the 2012 election for Montana House of Representatives, District 59. Blyton ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and defeated Paul Beck (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]

On November 2, 2010, Blyton won election to the Montana House of Representatives. Blyton did not have any opposition in the June 8 primary. She faced Paul Beck (D) in the November 2 general election.[5][6]
