Joanne Cocchiola
Joanne Cocchiola is a judge of the New Jersey Vicinage 5 Superior Court. She assumed office in 2022. Her current term ends in 2029.

She was appointed to the court in 2022 by Gov. Phil Murphy (D). She will face reappointment in 2029, and if reconfirmed, she may serve on the court until she reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[1]
Biography
Cocchiola received her bachelor's degree from Douglass College and her J.D. from Seton Hall University. She has served on Nutley's Board of Commissioners and as the mayor of Nutley. She also spent over 12 years as Associate Counsel for The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. Prior to her appointment, Cocchiola served as the Municipal Court Judge for the Township of Nutley.[2]
