Joanne Quinones is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She assumed office in 2024. Her current term ends on January 1, 2038.

Quinones (Democratic Party, Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 7, 2023.

Education

Quinones received her undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1992, and earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1997.[1]

Career

Quinones served as a court attorney for several New York courts and a Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society's Criminal Defense Division. She was appointed as an interim judge on the New York City Civil Court in September 2010 and was sworn in to the New York City Criminal Court in February 2011.[1]
