  • Affordable housing should be front of mind for our city council. When opportunities are presented with partnerships from non-profits and donors, it is important to embrace those opportunities and send the message that Bentonville is a place for all people, especially our first responders, city workers, and teachers.
  • Infrastructure will continue to be a hot topic. As the city continues it's growth, it is so important to be proactive in this issue. I plan to support the partnership between the city and Bentonville Moves. Having transportation options for all citizens who choose alternative/active transportation will be a great for everyone in the long run.
  • Bentonville Parks and Rec offers great activities for our residents, especially those with young families. I would like to help think of ways we can expand these services for all families. I think it is important for connections/activities to be offered for young adults who move to the area with no connections. When we can help them feel welcome and like they belong, they will in turn give back to the community. If we don't these young people end up moving to bigger cities that offer more for them and we lose out on their talent.
I'm passionate about sustainable living, active transportation, and a community where everyone feels welcome.
An elected official should have the best interest of the people they represent. Discernment, and an understanding of policies as they exist is so important.
The core responsibilities for city council is to uphold the city ordinances, and keep the residence safe.
My first job was Taco Bell and I worked there for 5 years, part of my high school and part of college career.
