Jody Adams was a judge for the New York County Family Court in New York. She was first appointed to the court in 1993. She was reappointed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in November 2002 for a term that ended in 2012.[1][2][3]

Education

Adams received her A.B. degree from Radcliffe College in 1969 and her J.D. from the Yale School of Law in 1973.[1][4]

Career

Adams practiced law in the Family Court prior to becoming a judge in 1993. She also directed and wrote the Vera Institute's Family Court Disposition Study.[2]
