Joe Driver
Joe Driver is a former Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 113 since 1993. He is the Owner of Joe Driver Insurance, State Farm Insurance Companies.
Driver's previous political experience includes Delegation Chair at Texas State Republican Convention - 16th Senatorial District (1990, 1992, 1994), Delegate to the Republican State Convention (1990, 1992), Campaign Manager for State Representative Anita Hills (1988), Co-Chair to Garland Committee to Re-Elect Governor Bill Clements (1986), and Phil Gramm's Senatorial Campaign.
Driver is a member of many organizations, including the Coalition for a Smoke-Free Texas, Conservative Coalition, Dallas Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, Dallas Associations of Life Underwriters, First United Methodist Church, Garland Chamber of Commerce, Garland Crimestoppers Board, and the Greater Garland Republicans Club.[1]

Travel expenses
Driver billed both the state of Texas and his campaign account for more than $17,000 in travel expenses from 2005 to mid-2010 . "He has also been collecting thousands of dollars in state mileage reimbursements for travel in vehicles for which his campaign has shelled out more than $100,000 since 2000," the Associated Press reported.[18]
