Joe Galdo was a 2014 Green Party candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Virginia.[1] Joe Galdo lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

He was a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Virginia. He was defeated by Gerald Connolly on November 6, 2012.[2]

According to Galdo's website, his campaign themes included:

  • Education: "No investment will pay better dividends for jobs, for insuring a robust economy, and for maintaining the vitality of our democratic form of government than providing a quality education for our nation's youth."
  • Economy: "In order to restore long term economic prosperity and low unemployment, these policies must be reversed.[3]
