Joe Kessel was recalled from his elected position as the District 5 representative to the Billings County School Board in Billings County, North Dakota in a special recall election on February 8, 2011.[1]
Paige Burian was elected in the same election on February 8 to fill the seat that was made vacant by the recall of Kessel.
