Joe M. Wojcik represented Trustee Area 3 on the Hemet Unified School District Board of Education in California. He was first elected to the board in 2006, and he served until his resignation in August 2017, when he moved out of the district.[1]

Wojcik moved to Hemet in 1977. After earning a bachelor's degree from California State University at San Bernardino and a J.D. from Western State University College of Law, he became an attorney and a partner at Davis & Wojcik. He and his wife have three daughters.[2]

Four seats on the Hemet Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Victor J. Scavarda ran unopposed and won re-election to Trustee Area 1. Incumbents Horacio Moreno Valenzuela and Joe M. Wojcik also ran unopposed and won re-election to the two Trustee Area 3 seats. No incumbent filed to run for the Trustee Area 2 seat, leaving the race to two candidates, Maurice Chacon and Megan A. Haley. Haley defeated Chacon to win the election.

Results

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Horacio Moreno Valenzuela and Joe M. Wojcik won re-election to the two Trustee Area 3 seats by default.[3]
