Biography
Martinez's professional experience includes working as a police officer and detective. He retired from the District Attorney's Office as a sergeant investigator in 2003. After his retirement, he began working as a licensed private investigator for a company he and his wife owned called CM Investigations Inc.[1]

Travis County held elections for county commission, all five constables, county attorney, sheriff, county tax assessor-collector, and the Austin Community College District Board of Trustees in 2016. The general election was held on November 8, 2016. A primary election was held on March 1, 2016, and a primary runoff took place on May 24, 2016.
