Joe Mullins
Joe Mullins was a 2015 Republican special election candidate for District 122 of the Georgia House of Representatives.[1]
Elections
2015
A special election for the position of Georgia House of Representatives District 122 was called for November 3.[2] A runoff election took place on December 1.[3] The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was September 16.[4]
The seat was vacant following Ben Harbin's (R) resignation on July 7, 2015, to become a lobbyist for Southern Strategy Group.[5]
Republicans Jodi Lott, Joe Mullins, Mack Taylor and Pat Goodwin faced off in the special election.[1] Since no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, the top two vote-getters, Lott and Taylor, met in a runoff election, which Lott won.[6][7]
