I became a United States Marine as a young man. I was the youngest Marine to participate in the evacuation of Saigon and served as a Guard for the Supreme Judge of Saigon and his family for about six months and I am proud that the most important action I took as a Marine SAVED lives rather than taking lives.

After completing my enlistment in the Marines, I attended Kent State University in the veterans' educational GI-Bill program. I served as President of the Kent State Vietnam Veterans Association and worked with Senator John Glenn to improve benefits for my fellow veterans.

I took an oath as a Marine to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. That's why I am a candidate now because our Constitution is under attack.

Folks who never served our country are attacking our right to vote. Some are trying to overthrow our elections. Some are trying to rig our elections with unconstitutional districts. Some have taken money from First Energy to let First Energy charge us more for our electric service. Some have taken money from companies to let them drill our park lands to make themselves billions in profits from our oil and gas and pay the lowest company taxes in the country to drill that oil and gas.

I started an Internet service company that provided me with an income for 25 years, then sold it to buy my parents' property in Bolivar, which I am developing for ecotourism on the Buckeye Trail with the Ohio-Erie Canal Coalition.
  • Stop Politicians' interference in Ohioians' Health Care.
  • Protect Taxpaper Funding for Public Education.
  • Overcome the Control of Corporate Energy Production Over Ohio Government.
I am committed to preserving Ohio's heritage and natural beauty and improving trail-tourism economic opportunities. I helped organize the Ohio-Erie Canal-way Coalition easement contracts from the Tuscarawas County line to the village of Bolivar and have developed our property for recreational use, along the Historic Greenville Treaty Line and the Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Buckeye Trail, and Great American Rail Trail. I would restore the protection of Ohio Public Lands from Fracking that the General Assembly removed in 2023.

I will protect our vote from rigged elections and restrictions on voting.

I will oppose corporate profiteers who loot public education funding for their own private benefit.
President Jimmy Carter because he's a man of integrity and has dedicated his life to others.
Independence, Transparency, Integrity, Competence, & Fairness!
I honor my oath to defend the Constitution. I try to learn as much as I can about a situation before making a decision.
State representatives should listen to the concerns of their constituents, develop solutions and work with other members of the legislature to promote the best interests of the district.
"I followed in the footsteps of Colonel John Glenn."
President Nixon resigned two weeks after I arrived at Camp Pendleton in Aug 1974 at age 17.
United States Marine Corps, 2 Years, 5 months, and 15 days (Feb '74 - Jul '76) I served as a guard during the evacuation of Saigon and as a Chaplain's Clerk assigned to Lt. John L. Fitzgerald (President Kennedy's first cousin) during my last nine months.
Uniform code of military conduct.
That's not relevant to the duties and performance of a legislator.
I began using tobacco as a Marine and have bee trying to overcome that habit since then.
The Governor should provide a budget that clearly states what services the state should provide and what those services should cost. Legislature should decide which of those services the taxpayers should pay for and which taxpayers should pay.
Ending control of corrupt state government officials by very wealthy corporations.
It depends on whether the state legislators previous experience involves taking bribes from First Energy. I believe my own experience as a United State Marine gave me the discipline and self reliance to perform the proper duties of a legislator.
John Glenn, once a Marine, always a Marine! I will try my best to serve as honorably as Senator Glenn served.
How many members of the Ohio General Assembly does it take to change a light bulb? Ask First Energy.
To change Ohio's outdated severance tax to become more like one of the most conservative states Texas using a percentage rate!
Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund, VoteVets, and Bakers Union BTCGM Local 19.
Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Armed Services and Veterans Affairs, and Primary and Secondary Education.
Campaign finance should be completely transparent and the voters should know who's contributing to campaigns. Corporations like First Energy should not be able to buy off Ohio politicians. Government officials who take corporate payoffs and corporate officials who give payoffs to government officials should go to prison.
