Joe Romack was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1982. Romack's professional experience includes working as a senior mechanical engineer involved in product design.[1]

I am the former Vice Chairman of LD23 and have been engaged in creating and championing bills for the past decade. From my efforts, I have gained a keen knowledge of how the sytem works and will hit the ground running. In addition, I have already created some strategic partnerships with current Legislators.

I have been a long time owner and advocate for greyhounds. During an 11 year period, I helped lead the efforts to outlaw racing in my state. It took numerous Bills to make it happen. Finally, in 2016, it ended. During that time I learned the Legislative process,and also built many relationships with Legislators
