My name is Joe Stanieich-Burke. I'm a Litchfield, New Hampshire resident, husband, and father, and I'm running for New Hampshire State Representative to create a better, safer, more equitable state.
  • Invest and strengthen our public education system.

  • Ensure equal rights and protections are upheld and implemented for all Granite Staters.
  • Represent small business and find new ways to retain our workforce and attract new talent to the state.
As a candidate for public office in New Hampshire, I am passionate about human rights and social justice, education, environmental protections, cost-efficient clean energy, small business and workforce retention, and voting rights.
I believe the most successful elected officials embodied characteristics such as empathy, compassion, reason, insightfulness, intelligence, and a willingness to listen and learn.
I believe the core responsibility of a State Representative is to be the voice for their community. This means representing voters of all demographics and political affiliations, trying to find common ground to pass common sense, positive legislation.
For my legacy, I would like to make sure the world I leave is a better, safer, more equitable place for my children than it was for me.
I believe New Hampshire is prone to a number of challenges now and in the coming years. These challenges that I hope to tackle include climate change and it's impact on our environment and tourism industries, the housing crisis and skyrocketing property taxes, a set back in reproductive rights and other human rights issues, voting rights and gerrymandering, and the defunding and lack of investment in our public education system.
I absolutely believe it is critical to democracy for legislators to build relationships with members of all parties.
I believe in fair, independent redistricting.
