Joe Stegner
Joe Stegner was a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate from 1998-2011, representing the 7th District. Stenger was re-elected in November of 2010, but he resigned on November 30, 2011 to become chief lobbyist for the University of Idaho.[1] He was serving as the Assistant Senate Majority Leader of the Idaho State Senate when he resigned.
Biography
Stenger earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho. He has worked as a property manager and owner the Stegner Grain & Seed Company from 1972 to 1995.

On November 4, 2008, Republican Joe Stegner won re-election to the Idaho State Senate District 7 receiving 10,920 votes, ahead of Democrat Barb Kramer(6,842).[4]
