Joseph W. Voiland is a judge of the Ozaukee County Circuit Court in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.[1] He was elected in 2013 for a term that expires in 2019.[2]

Education

Voiland earned his B.A. from Northwestern University and his J.D., with honors, from Marquette University Law School.[3]

Career

Prior to joining the circuit court, Voiland worked as an attorney with Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, focusing on financial services litigation. He has been a special prosecutor for the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in child abuse cases and a former law clerk to then-Justice Diane S. Sykes, now of the 7th Circuit.[3]

2013 election

Voiland defeated incumbent Judge Tom Wolfgram in the general election on April 2, 2013, winning 62.72% of the vote.[4][2][5]
