Joel E. Tingey is a judge for the Seventh Judicial District of Idaho.[1] He was appointed to the court in July 2007 by Governor Butch Otter.[2] He was re-elected in May 2014 for a term that expires in January 2019.[3]

Tingey received both his bachelor's and J.D. degrees from Brigham Young University in 1980 and 1983, respectively.[4]
