Joel Kamp was a senior judge of District 8B of Iowa. He was appointed to this court in 1983. He retired in 2006 and assumed senior status.[1][2]

Kamp graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and then received his law degree from the University of Mississippi.[1]
