Joel Toomey is a federal magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He was appointed to this position on July 6, 2010.[1][2]

Education

Toomey received his law degree from Duke Law School in 1982.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Toomey had worked as an attorney in private practice, an assistant district attorney in the State Attorney's Office, and in the City of Jacksonville Office of General Counsel.[2]
