  • A new form of leadership. New leadership that does their civic participation by being close to the people, and live by the principles of a just common life. Those who govern should live amongst the common ordinary people, to fully grasp the severity of the common struggles of today. The people should not be complacent to those in power, the people have the innate power; effective suffrage, no reelection. Through the people's power of effective suffrage, they are able to elect those who share the same values and principles of a new form of leadership. A leadership that above all, places the people first.
  • The People first. The people have been put in a position in which its government has made them the least of their priorities. The root of many of the problems today, is the infringement of people's civil rights. A bountiful government should not be able to exist while its people live in misery. The people should have a government that works for the people, one the provides them with social programs, strategic public infrastructure as well as assuring social equality. Through the principles of a new leadership and with the people's power of effective suffrage, a better society that puts the people and the people's needs first, can be achieve.
  • Real progress. A government that works for the people, is one that provides its people with infrastructure, welfare programs, and assures well being for all people. Prosperity for the working class means prosperity for all. A planned out and long lasting vision, one that is looking to advance and change the system that has forgotten people and its reason to be, to serve the people. A vision, one that involves all and advances all.
There isn't a specific area of public policy that I am not interested in. The long-lasting and deep grasp of neoliberalism in public policy has been a major root cause of the injustices of today. Neo-liberalism seeks and wants the transfer of power given to the private sector. Neo-liberalism believes that the public sector and government will do a poor and inefficient job. It believes the private sector should be given the power to seize and control. Causing privatization, deregulations, and extreme capitalism.

I want to give Oregonians a new voice that will show the values of ordinary Americans. I represent what the average American is and their beliefs are. Coming from a middle class working family, I have been able to experience adversities that have shape me to become the person I am today. Public Service has always been a call for me. Working as waiter/cashier at a restaurant made realized that serving people was something that I am passionate about. I, then proceeded to work as a Memory Care Caregiver. Being a caregiver, ingrained the idea that public service and want to do well for others was a calling, Now, I work for a Non-Profit organization that focuses on empowering underrepresented youth. I am no stranger to being the voice of those who cannot and can stand for themselves. And I will give my voice to those whether we agree or disagree.
Civil Rights has always been the main goal in eye. As the injustices done to our civil rights have been the root cause of many of the injustices done today, regarles of who they are.
A book that I would recommend to someone who wants to understand my political philosophy is, "What Is Property? An Inquiry into the Right and Government" by P.J. Proudhon
Being honest and having integrity are the most important characteristics an elected official can have.
The core responsibilities for someone elected in this office is to hear and listen what everyone has to say.
A legacy I would like to leave is one that focuses on interest of the people.
My very first job was working as cashier/server at a restaurant. I work there for a little bit over a 1 year.
"Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City" by Matthew Desmond
If could be any fictional character I would be Gon Freecss from "HunterXHunter"
What I perceive to be our state's challenging issues over the years would be public safety. Public safety is an ambarella term that covers many of the issue that Oregonians are facing. Those include homelessness, housing crisis, healthcare and many other issues.
I do not believe that our elected officials have to career politicians. We have been dealing with career politicians have their own self interest rather than the public interest.
I do believe is beneficial to build relationships with other legislators as coming to consensus is how thigs get done.
I believe in positive changes that will make the whole process of voting easier. Having more barriers does damage to this process. It disenfranchise voters.
